WHI in Bosnia

Join us on a cross-cultural service trip to Bosnia! During the week-long experience, you will learn, serve, and grow with a team of adults who are committed to see lives and communities changed.  Our vision is to empower, encourage, and engage local communities through education, and you can invest in kid’s lives by providing a fun, interactive, and educational English camp!

During your trip, you will encounter a new culture, undertake a new language, learn about different religions, and pray for others.  Just as Jesus commanded us to love one another as He first loved us (John 13:34), you will be challenged to share His love with others outside your comfort zone.  Your understanding of the world will expand as you discover more about yourself, your team, and Bosnia!

Building Hope Through Accessible, Inclusive Communities

As we celebrate Human Rights Day this December 10th, it’s good to also reflect on how we are working to ensure that human rights are able to be enjoyed by everyone and are truly universal.

Undertake a new language – You won’t master it in a week, but you’ll learn basic greetings and introductions.  Most importantly, you’ll learn how to order the all-important beverage – coffee! Learn about different religions – Take a tour of a mosque, explore a Catholic church, and see how religion impacts national identity
