Natural Disaster Emergency Response

On the ground before, during, and after

We mobilize our network of local and global nonprofit, corporate, church, and logistic partners when disasters strike.

Thousands of communities around the world are affected every day by natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and conflicts. This leaves the most vulnerable people in urgent need of help to survive and recover. Historically, those with a background of working in a country alongside local communities are best suited to support relief efforts quickly and efficiently.

Acting fast before, during, and after an emergency and collaborating creatively with diverse partners has meant we can assist the vulnerable when some of the greatest disasters strike.

New Partnership Increases our Impact Here at Home

We love the power of partnerships! Read on to find out more about our newest alliance with the Salvation Army in emergency disaster response, and how this will allow us to broaden our impact within our own communities in Canada!

Volunteers drop everything and respond to Hurricane Laura

On Friday, August 28th, Kurt Bandy received a phone call from World Hope International (Canada) asking if he could leave that evening for Louisiana to respond to Hurricane Laura’s devastation. He had one hour to make the decision. Knowing on top of the 7 days of service, he had to self-isolate for 14 days coming home, Kurt dropped everything. By 8:00 pm, Kurt departed for his first disaster relief trip…

The Power of Partnerships: Why We Are Better Together

World Hope International has a long history of partnering with other organizations. When it comes to emergency relief work there is a need for organizations to come together in order to make a greater impact.

AN ORGANIZATION YOU CAN TRUST.

Spending of World Hope International (Canada) funds is confined to Board approved projects. Funds designated towards a project are used as designated, with the understanding that when the need for that project has been met or cannot be completed for reasons determined by the Board, the remaining funds designated will be used where needed most.
