Happy New Year! Why I’m So Excited for the Year Ahead!

Here it is—2026! And I couldn’t be more energized as we step into another year of igniting hope in hard places. My heart is full of expectation for all that God will do through the work of World Hope and through partners like you. So, what am I so excited about? Let me tell you.

Bringing Donors and Church Leaders to See Impact Firsthand

There is nothing quite like watching someone witness hope in action—seeing lives transformed, communities strengthened, and futures sustainably reshaped. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to bring donors and church leaders to see our international projects this year so they can experience these transformative stories for themselves

Celebrating Children with Disabilities Thriving Again

I can’t wait to hear the stories of hundreds more children living with disabilities—and their families—who will be able to eat well, live bravely, and begin to walk, play, and learn alongside their peers through our Enable the Children program. These stories of courage and breakthrough fuel everything we do.

Saving Lives Through Cervical Cancer Screening

I’m looking forward to hearing the testimonies of women whose lives (and their children’s) have been spared because they had the chance to be screened for cervical cancer and treated in time. Prevention is powerful—and this year, it will save countless lives.

Protecting Children from Online Sexual Exploitation

Every child rescued from online sexual exploitation is a victory worth celebrating. I’m deeply grateful for our dedicated counselors and social workers who walk with these children and their families through the long, courageous journey of healing. Their work gives me so much hope.

Standing Strong Against Trafficking and Violence

I’m honoured to work alongside a skilled team of anti-trafficking specialists who are equipping communities to stand up boldly against trafficking and gender-based violence. Together, we are seeing resilience and protection grow in places where it’s needed most.

Opening Doors to Education for Children

This year, thousands of children will receive access to quality education because education and village partnerships are revitalizing schools, empowering teachers, and transforming communities. Education changes everything—and I can’t wait to celebrate every child who steps into a classroom with new possibilities ahead.

Expanding Access to Clean Water

And finally, I’m excited knowing that thousands more people will experience the life-changing gift of clean water. With it comes health, dignity, opportunity, and hope. Children will receive the gift of life; women will receive the gift of time; and communities will receive the gift of health.

So yes—2026 has me excited, filled with anticipation for what’s ahead.

Together, we will continue to bring hope in hard places.  Here’s to a year of impact, transformation, and lives forever transformed.

Happy New Year!

Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
